  Garden centre very nice and lots of nice things ready for spring gardening. I did feel that the garden side is shrinking, and gifts etc are taking over. Very disappointed in the restaurant, we have been to meet friends several times before, but felt that the standard had slipped. My husband and I both had baked potatoes, OK, but the salad that came with them was very faded and brown, obviously had been around some time. My husband had a dirty tea cup and my coffee which was cool was served in a chipped cup. The cakes are also too expensive. A slice of cake for £3.49 means that if you get 12 slices the profit margin must be huge. I am aware that you have to pay staff, but it still too much money. Having had a moan, the staff were really nice and helpful and the tables were keep clean and cleared quickly.
