  I used to think Emma Bridgewater cafe was a nice. Friendly delightful place. But now I have changed my mind. The supervisor woman (blond woman) is awful. I was sitting behind the window/glass wall near the till and heard her talking about other customers and the staff in the kitchen. I am NOT impressed and will be spreading the word

  I love Emma Bridgewater Pottery but the staff are AWFUL! They are so rude and standoffish, they have the ability to make a whole room feel like they are something awful they have found on their shoe. It’s really tainted the product I own, I’ve spent in excess of £500 and now I look at it and wonder why. Don’t ever ask them to take a photo, you will be treated as though you are not worthy enough to be breathing the same air as them. We asked 4/5 times of the three staff members behind the counter, it was an hour before closing and we were the only customers. One of the staff ventured out, snatched the phone, took two photos and shoved the phone back to us. They took the photo so quickly and without any notice so it looks terrible and we were too afraid to ask them to try again. We sat and drank our coffee and had our cake in near silence because it was such an awful atmosphere. The online experience won’t be much better. If they don’t have the first they will refund without helping to see if there’s a second in the same pattern. If you send customer service an email, no one will reply. This is obviously a company that is so successful it feels that it does not need to be a pleasant company to transact with. Such a shame.
